Georgia Military Affairs Coordinating Committee
OUR MISSION
Using all available state and federal resources, to
Improve the mission value of the thirteen military bases in Georgia and the quality of life of the people who live and work there.
Develop and execute a strategy to determine what excess capacity is available on each base, and how best to convince the military services what organizations or missions can be moved there to satisfy the void.
Cause each community to develop an early plan for economic redevelopment in the event their military base is closed.
